How to measure for the right size?

To ensure accurate measurements we suggest having a professional seamstress measure you. If you do not get a professional seamstress to take your measurements you should follow this guide to ensure proper fit.

Please Note: You should always have someone else take your measurements, physically measuring yourself will provide you with inaccurate numbers, so please have someone help you.

At BuyWeddingDress.Net all dresses can either be bought in standard sizes or be custom made to fit.

Use the table below to work out your measurements. Please be aware that your dress may require some minor alterations to make your dress fit perfectly.

1) Standard Size Dress

This option allows you to order a standard size dress. Please use the diagram below to take your measurements for your dress and use the measured values to decide your size in accordance with the table below. If you do not fit into the sizes exactly, consider ordering a custom made dress. If you fall between to sizes, choose the bigger one.

Measurement for Standard Size Dresses

Follow these steps for a perfect fit.

Even if you are sure of your measurements, you might be surprised. It is a good idea to take new measurements every so often for the perfect fit.

Waist: Wrap tape measure securely yet comfortably around your waist. Allow one finger between your body and the tape.

Bust: Measure your bust at the fullest part and take the measurement in front with one finger between your body and bra.

Hips: Measure around the fullest point of your hip (lower body).

2) Custom Made (Custom Tailored)

In this case your dress wlll custom made to your own measurements. See below for information about how you measure for a custom tailored dress.

When you have ordered a custom tailored dress, we will send you an email with a attach file "Size Measurement Form". After you receive the form, you take the measurements as described below and fill the measured sizes in to the form. Then you send Form back to us by email. We will then manufacture the dress according to your measurements.
